Ronald Draper

Imagine your favorite teacher, construction worker, and painter, all wrapped up in one with the heart of a relentless activist. Instead of speaking at rallies, preaching at meetings, or protesting, he aims to get his message across with his quote-driven artwork. His art, not limited to any particular medium, blends many different materials and techniques in order to help create visual, tangible versions of wise words and profound thoughts that have been gifted to us by the great thinkers and leaders of the past and present. He is known for his work on mirrored glass, but has also worked with plywood, shipping palettes, cardboard, and a number of other materials.

You can choose to not pick up a book, words can go in one ear and out the other, but it’s hard to ignore a piece of art.
